- Famous and loved Canadian artist and lead singer of the Tragically Hip, Gord Downie, gets informed that he has terminal brain cancer.
- After the tragic news, The Tragically Hip decides to go on a farewell tour across Canada. The band and Gord decide they want to end in their home town Kingston Ontario.
- After the country hears about the final concert in Kingston, thousands come to watch in Kingston including Justin Trudeau. Over 27000 packed into market square to get ready to watch the concert.
- As a sold out KRock center, and 11.7 million people watch on tv, The Tragically Hip perform their best concert of their career. The band performed 3 encores to make sure no classic was left out.
- After the crazy nation wide tour, Gord decides to release one last solo album before finishing his music career.
- On October 17, 2017 Gord Downie passed away while leaving his complete solo for the world 10 days after his death. Although the death of Canada's favorite artist was upsetting, he left lasting positive effect on the Country.
