- Before a bill can become a law, it begins as an idea from a representative or a citizen then is written into a bill.

- Kids should work harder than we do. They should keep themselves busy.
- When a bill reaches the president. He can either sign it, refuse to sign it, or do nothing.
- The bill gets voted on. If most representatives select yes, the bill passes the U.S. House of Representatives.
- When a bill is debated, representatives discuss the bill and explain why they agree or disagree with it.
- If the bill isn't signed within 10 days, then it is not a law (Pocket Veto). The bill goes through the same steps again.
