- Stamp Act
- NO STAMP ACT!!!
- Declaratory Act
- The British Government has decided to erase the Stamp Act, but have the RIGHT to tax colonies if they want.
- Quartering Act
- British Government (King & Parliment) put tax on the Americans. They must pay for important papers which leads to burning papers, stopping newspapers, and riots.
- Boston Massacre
- The same day the British government got rid of the Stamp Act, they passed a law comfirming they have the right to tax colonies in the future. If they wanted to.
- Boston Tea Party
- Britsh Soldiers are allowed to live in the colonists home. They MUST provide supplies and food for the soldiers.
- Coercive/Intolerable Acts
- The British soldiers shoot and kill 5 people, A large crowd of colinists were threatening British Soldeirs, after panicking the soldeirs shot.
- People in Boston did NOT want to pay Tea Tax so they dumped tea into the Harbor.
- British Governments punishes Boston saying they will NOT be allowed to ship goods in and out of Boston. Destroys their business. Shut down all courts in Boston. Also got rid of Massachusetts government.
