- yeah, I have heard it since I take computer science course in the university

- My lecturer want us to present a short presentation about the SLDC and I got a phase 5, maintenance. Can you help me by explaining about this phase?
- Alright, let me begin with its purpose
- The purpose of the maintenance on the operation, support, and security phase is to provide ongoing assistance for an information system and its users after the system is implemented

- There are 2 maintenance involved, which is the Corrective Maintenance . This is the Process of diagnosing and correcting errors. Next, the Adaptive maintenance. This is the Process of including new features in an information system.
- There are 3 types in this phase. Firstly, Perform maintenance activities. we will fixing error in, as well as improving a system operations.
- Perfective Maintenance purpose is to Investigate solutions to make the IS more efficient and reliable. However, the Preventive Maintenance Preventive steps involved in performing activities to prevent the occurrence of error
- Secondly, Monitor System performance. This is to determine whether the system is inefficient or unstable at any point.
