- Rules are very hard to change. The RECIEVER is themost important Elder. He lived and worked alone. Hewould be the one that determines the change in rules. - Everyone in the community has dark eyes. Jonas, the baby, and a female have pale(light) eyes. It was considered rude to point out people’s differences.
