- Really, I don't believe that!
- That's because it isn't true. What if I told you this is the statistics for Americans being sexually assaulted in the US.
- I believe that, but what can we do to help?
- Well we need to first stop normalizing this behavior and invalidating people who have experienced this
- That's a good start. How about encouraging victims to speak up?
- That's a good idea. Its always important to show your love and support. Did you know that only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators are actually incarcerated?
- That's shocking! Are children also being affected by this?
- Well... do you remember that statistic from before? Every nine minutes one of those victims is a child. This is why we have to always be trustworthy, that people, especially children can trust.
- Why don't people care more about this?! We need more advocates!!!
- Its partially ignorance and fear. This is a very stigmatized topic, but it shouldn't be. So we need to...
- STAND UP, SPEAK UP, SHARE, AND ADVOCATE FOR ALL VICTIMS!
