- I'M VERY SORRY, LOVE, BUT THEY REALLY DON'T WANT US TO BE TOGETHER BECAUSE IT'S WHAT THE TRIBE WANTS.
- I WOULD RATHER HAVE MY HEAD CUT OFF A THOUSAND TIMES IN A THOUSAND LIVES THAN BETRAY THE TRIBE'S LAWS!

- The parents decide to forcibly take their child away from his wife, and find a suitable wife who can give him a child and conform to the tribe's rules and laws.

- Months later, Lumnay found out that Awiyao was going to be married to another woman, and this deeply saddened her and made her want to crash the gates and see Awiyao, but the guards would not let her in as she was not in the listed guests.
- Lumnay then went on to the place where she knows she can calm down, beside the roaring splashes of the waterfalls, as she is embraced by the warm waters to subside the coldness she is feeling inside brought by her broken heart as he saw Awiyao marrying another woman.
- As the night grew older, she soon accepted the fact that maybe, they just weren't meant to be, and she then contemplated that maybe, in another life, they will have the odds turn to their side and they can live happily ever after.
