Lady or Tiger Analysis

- The person accused is brought into the arena, and made to choose between two doors, not knowing what lies behind them.
- If the accused is "guilty," then they'll pick the door that hides a tiger. The tiger then attacks and kills the criminal.
- I now pronounce you husband and wife.
- However, if the person is innocent, then they'll pick the door with a beautiful lady. A priest will immediately marry the couple (regardless if the "innocent" already has a wife or girlfriend).
- NO!!!
- How DARE you! Guards! Take him away!
- A poor young man and the princess were deeply in love. However, the king found out, sent the man to prison, and scheduled a trial for him.
- The princess finds out which door contains the lady and which the tiger. She also knows the identity of the selected lady: a noblewoman who she suspects had been eying her lover.
- I don't want him to die...but I can's stand the thought of that girl getting him, either.
- At her lover's trial, the princess gestures for him to open the door on the right. He does so without hesitation...but what comes out remains up for debate.
