Well Sir, following the case control study, we have discovered that among the cases, 75% has history of recent travel to a neighbouring town where another outbreak was occurring, while only 20% of the control group had such travel history
Mr Mayor, following our last discussion we have come to confirm that indeed were are face with an outbreak.
Oh!! This what I was afraid of, but please tell me more of your findings.
From the interviews and surveys we conducted the cross sectional study revealed that 12% of the surveyed population currently have the disease. Among those with the disease, 40% reported consuming untreated well water as their primary source of drinking water, while 5% of the disease-free participants reported doing so.
We gathered data from a sample of the population at single point in time to assess the disease prevalence and related factors.
Exceptional work, this gives us a lot to work. From what I'm hearing it seems like there might be a potential exposure risk associated with consuming untreated well water.
