- At my oldest son's school they gave all the boys a golden key and said they would be lucky to go to war and die. They said that this golden key would get them in to heaven.
- That's absolutely horrible!
- It's terrible!
- Will they even understand, Mrs. Satrapi doesn't have any children who are being bribed to go to war. She is in a higher social class, these things don't happen to her family.
- Through my suffering I raised my 5 children and now the government just thinks they can take away my eldest son like it's nothing.
- I'm terribly sorry!
- I'm questioning the religion I've been loyal to my whole life, I feel lost and overwhelmed.
- Am I a terrible person for questioning my religion?
- What has your son said?
- Women? Such odd temptations.
- He is 14, the idea of having plenty of food, riches and women is astonishing to him.
- The school told him that in paradise there would be plenty of riches, food, houses, and women.
- Bring him to me and I will talk to him. I may be able to change his thinking.
- I wonder if her words will truly make much of a difference? I can't have any false hope.
- Okay, I will.
