- It would really help out the house.
- You should wish for 200 pounds father.

- Here's 200 pounds for your lost.
- The White family were just playing chess when all of a sudden they had a visit from Sergeant-Major Morris who gives them the monkey's paw.
- Falling Action
- We should wish for our son back.
- I'm going to make my final wish to return Herbert.
- Herbert suggested that his father should wish for 200 pounds for his house payment. Mr. White ends up wishing for the money.
- Resolution
- Don't open the door.
- Its Hebert!
- A man informs the White family about Herbert's accident that resulted in his death. The family recieved 200 pounds in result of their son's death.
- Mrs. White thought of the idea to wish their son back using the Monkey's Paw. Mr. White was unsure about it but wished anyway.
- I'm not sure about that.
- Mrs. White hears a knock on the door so she thinks it's Herbert. Mr. White doesn't want her to open the door because he knows that Herbert will look different because of his injuries. Mr. White makes the final wish to return Herbert.
