My Girragundji

- There's a bad spirit in our house, The hairy man. He basically torchers us during the night and he even had my sister atone point. I live in a room with my brothers and at night we're scared of going to the window because he might get us.
- At school it's no better. I feel excluded because of my race. I get bullied and beaten up. I have tried to fight them but I just get more hurt. The sad thing is that I like a girl called Shazza and I don't know if she likes me.
- One night I found This girragundji. Even though he is just a girragundji but he provides me strengths that I have dreamed of. He makes me go harder and he gives me confidence to reach further. I feed him everyday and I let him out and he is now my girragundji.
- Every year my family and I go to my aunty and uncles place. I think it is the best place in the world. It's the only place where I can really be myself and embrace my culture. I just wouldn't bring Shazza here. I am excited to go home to see my girragundji though but I am just happy to be here.
- One night I was asleep I and then I heard the door open. It's the hairy man and he's coming after me. That's it ,I've had enough it's time to face him. As he enters the room I stand with angry face and I some how scare him. As he leaves I am no longer afraid of him.
