- The use of slavery in labor is wrong and immoral!
- Our economy is dependent on slaves and we can't survive without them
- The south has succeeded from the union!
- In the mid 19th century, the US was experiencing tremendous economic growth. The two had disputes over the use of slaves in labor.
- In 1861, after decades of tension between the north and south over conflicts such as slavery and westward expansion, 7 states succeeded from the union and 4 more soon joined them.
- The country was left divided after the split, and the two newly formed nations soon went to war.
- We would like to rejoin the union under the condition that we are granted citizenship
- Gladly.
- The conflict between the confederacy and the union had escalated and led to a war breaking out.
- The conflict lasted four long years and led to the deaths of 620,000 Americans.
- Three years after the conflict, the confederacy was again allowed to be part of the union under the condition that slavery was abolished.
