- Lady Macbeth is drowning so deep in guilt that she starts sleepwalking because of it. Her condition got so bad even the doctor didn't know how to heal her.
- "What a sigh is there. The heart is sorely charged"(Act 5 Scene 1)

- Macbeth's life starts going downhill once he gets the news that not only thousands of English troops are coming but also that his wife is incurable.

- "Canst thou not minister to a mind diseased,Pluck from the memory a rooted sorrow,Raze out the written troubles of the brain"(Act 5 Scene 3)
- Malcolm's army start getting ready to take back his country. The prophecy starts coming to light because Malcolm tells his men to take wood from the trees to disguise their numbers.
