She is alone in her house and wants to call her husband but she can't reach him. She became paranoid after she dialed wrong number and overheard a planning awful crime.

In the middle of the night a stranger is having a conversation about committing a horrible crime while he's at the phone booth.
*He heard someone is crying upstairs and he also heard the victim's footsteps*
After she overheard the conversation, She panicked and felt very afraid because the murderer tell the specific address and it is the same address of her.
