- Slim was mad it Curley because Curley thought his wife was with Slim. Curley gets mad at Lennie because he thought Lennie was laughing at him.
- Look Curley ain't gone tell nobody what happened here. You got your hand stuck in a machine. If you tell anyone I am going to tell the truth

- Lets take you to the doctor
- Slim is Curley going to tell his old man
- YOU TOLD ME TO GEORGE
- Curley started hitting Lennie because he Lennie was laughing at him. George told Lennie to fight and defend himself.
- You told me to George
- Its ok Lennie
- George and the men in the bunkhouse was trying to get Lennie to stop. Lennie breaks Curley's hand because George told him too and because he got scared.
- George do I get to still tend the rabbits?
- Lennie yes you get to still tend the rabbits
- George is scared because Curley's dad might kick them out. Slim told Curley he got his hand stuck in a machine and if he opens his mouth about what happened, Slim is going to tell the truth.
- George cleans up Lennie after the fight. Lennie and Georges talk about what happened and about the dream.
- George comorts Lennie. Lennie talks about the dream and tending the rabbits.
