- EXPOSITION
- Ponyboy was walking home from the movie theater when his rival gang showed up and tried to jump him. Soon, his gang (the greasers) showed up and saved him.
- Gleiten: 2
- CONFLICT
- Darry (Ponyboy's brother) slaps Ponyboy, so he runs away. Him and Johnny go to the park where the Socs try to drown Ponyboy so Johnny stabs Bob. Johnny and Ponyboy go to Dally where he gives them money and a gun.
- Gleiten: 3
- RISING ACTION
- Johnny and Pony had to change the way they look and hide away in an abandoned church. The Church catches fire and Johnny and Pony save the kids that were trapped inside. Johnny sadly got hurt very bad. The boys go back home.
- Gleiten: 4
- CLIMAX
- When they get back all the greasers, accept Johnny. Go to the rumble and the greasers win! When, Dally and Pony go to visit Johnny to tell him of their victory. When they get there, they tell him when he dies.
- Gleiten: 5
- FALLING ACTION
- Dally goes to rob a gas station and he threatens to shoot the cop so they shoot his, like Dally wanted.
- Gleiten: 6
- RESOLUTION
- Ponyboy writes about his life expirences for an assay at school.
