Before our lesson today, I thought anthropology only had one field which was cultural anthropology. I was always under the impression that anthropology has to do with the development of culture and humanity as a whole through evolution. But boy was I wrong, anthropology is so much more so let me tell you about it!
Alright everybody, that's it for todays Cultural Anthropology class!
Hi there! My name is Maddie and this is my professor for Cultural Anthropology. Today he went through the sub-fields of anthropology and what our specific class of cultural anthropology is all about and I was SO CONFUSED!

Let's begin! After today's lesson, it's clear that anthropology goes beyond just culture and the evolution of humanity. Anthropology explores various aspects of human life, including cultural practices, biological development, archaeological records, and language. Anthropology provides a much broader understanding of what it truly means to be human.
After diving deeper into today's lesson, I understand more of what my cultural anthropology class covers! Cultural anthropology studies contemporary cultures and societies. This subfield examines the social practices, beliefs, traditions, and economies of various cultures all around the world!

Now after a long day of classes, I can come back to my dorm room and say I learned so much more about anthropology! After today's class, I can confidently go into my next cultural anthropology class with so much more knowledge on the diversity of the topic as a whole. Anthropology is more than just the study of cultures but it is the study of what makes us all human within the different subfields of anthropology. After not knowing much about it, now I know that anthropology helps us understand what it means to be human and how we can coexist more harmoniously!
