- In the passage " The Veldt" their was a family, the Hadley's, that lived in a smart house. The smart house nearly did everything for them and was great to them.
- Falling Action
- Lydia, the mother was concerned about her children's nursery due to the fact the digitalized veldtland on the nursery's walls seemed to intense for the eyes of children. When finding out the walls of the nursery would not change the parents decided to call a psychologist and he decided that nursery should he shut off immediately. When the children found out about the plans of their parents shutting off the nursery,the children reacted horribly to the situation and decided to get revenge.
- resolution
- Before going to change the parents decide to give the children one more moment in the veldt. The children begin to call for help from the nursery and the parents come running to their aid thinking something is wrong with their kids.
- theme
- When the parents arrived at the nursery the door of the nursery slammed shut and the parents were locked in. The nursery was empty was locked in except for the lion staring at them. The parents began to scream for help realizing the screams they heard before were not the screams of their children but the scream of themselves. Their own children was imagining them getting eaten by the lions instead it wasn't their imagination it was actually going to happen.
- While the children have a picnic the their parents are are being eaten by lions.
- Technology can be rewarding and useful although it can be detrimental to the personal growth of families.
