- Going to the pound.
- Didn't find anything at the pound.
- Going to pet smart
- Pet Smart
- For my 11th birthday, my parents decided to get me a new dog so we went to the pound.
- looking at the puppies
- Sadly after we went to the pound we couldn't get the dog we were looking for and we didn't find another dog that we liked, so we left.
- I picked out my dog, Joey
- My mom found out that the bella foundation was at the local pet smart in the area. I didn't really wan't to go because of how sad i was, but my parents insisted, so we went to pet smart.
- Bringing joey home
- When we got to pet smart, we started to look. I looked around but i didn't see anything that i wanted until i found Joey and his sister Frannie.
- We took them out of their kennel and started to play with them. While we were playing with them, i made my final decision to pick Joey. So my parents signed Joey's adoption papers, left pet smart, and went home.
- When we brought Joey home, he was nervous. When i put him on the ground he started to explore the house. Then he came into my room and took a big nap. I felt so very happy that I got Joey. Since my dog Barney died, I really wanted a new dog. Joey was also my favorite birthday present that I got.
