- Hey! My name is Jerry. I am currently evaporating into the sky by the process of evaporation! Evaporation is the process of turning into water vapor!
- My plan is to journey through the water cycle! I have already done condensation which is the process of turning into a cloud!
- Hello again! I am currently falling as rain through the process of precipitation! Precipitation is the process of falling from a cloud as rain, hail, sleet, or snow!
- Next is ground water! Because of the porosity and permeability of the soil I am slowing sinking into the soil which is eventually gonna hit an aquifer making me ground water! Not all ground water has to be in an aquifer though.
- I flowed into the soil and am currently in a plant! I'm going through transpiration. Transpiration is to turn into water vapor like I did in evaporation! But transpiration is different from evaporation. Transpiration is doing what evaporation does but from the water of a plant. After this I will be done with the journey through the water cycle! - I finally made it up and became surface water! Surface water is the top layer of water that you see in a lake, river, pond, stream, ocean, etc.
- Welcome back! You may not recognize me but I'm currently in an aquifer under this lake! People currently call me ground water. I am slowing moving up to turn into surface water!
