- Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counselors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
- King Nebuchadnezzar: Let all the people gather together, I have an Important matter to announce
- King Nebuchadnezzar:I want everyone of you to bow to this golden image that I will make, When you hear the sound of thecornet, flute, harp , sackbut, Psaltery,dulcimer, and all kinds of musick,
- You should bow down and worship the golden image and whosoever shall not bow down to this golden image will be cast in the midst of burning fiery furnace.
- The people gather together and when they heard the sound of the instrument then bow down EXCEPT the three young men named Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
- King Nebuchadnezzar: What is it?
- Officer: O King Nebuchadnezzar, I have something to tell you.
- KING: Who it is, that did not obey my commandments?
- Officer:They did not bow down and worship the golden image that you made.
- :Shadrach Meshach and Abednego
- ......and The officers brought Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to the king.
- KING: Is it true, Shadrach Meshach Abednego? You don't serve and worship the golden image that I have set up?
- Now I will give you chance to do with what I have commanded but if you will not do it, I will put you in the burning fiery furnace.
