Life cycle of a rock

- I start as magma, as the volcano erupts the lava turns into magma, it starts to cool and I turn into an igneous rock
- For thousands of years I start to erode as weathering keeps breaking me down into sediments.
- After i turn into sediments, 2 thousand years go by , weathering and cementation move me closer to the ocean
- After 2 million years, enough pressure formed to start compaction, turning me into a sedimentary rock
- After enough heat and pressure forms, i turn into a metamorphic rock
- Soon the temperature will start to rise and that will change the rock
