- Am I a bug?!
- Get back into your room Gregor!
- Gregor wakes up in his bed and notices something different about himself. He feels off and achey. He looks down at his body and doesn't recognize himself. Instead of seeing his human body, he sees a body of a bug. He had changed into a bug over night.
- IS THAT A GIANT BUG?!
- Gregor finally gets up the strength to get up and open his bedroom door. When his family and manager see his new body for the first time they are in shock. His mother passes out on the floor from fear
- We need to get rid of it!
- Gregor comes out of his room to check things out. His father sees him and gets incredibly angry. He angrily chases Gregor back into his room by throwing apples at Gregor. Gregor ends up getting hit by an apple and gets injured.
- Gregor's family had lodgers come and stay at their house to bring in some extra money. The lodgers were not told that a giant bug , Gregor, was staying at the house as well. One night they asked Grete to play the violin for them. Gregor loved the sound of the violin and ventured out of his room. The lodgers saw him and become furious that they were not told about him. They left and refused to pay rent.
- Grete confronts her parents about getting rid of Gregor. She does not even address Gregor as a person anymore, she just calls him "it".
- The Charwoman finds Gregor lifeless laying on his bedroom floor.
