- the incandescent light bulb was created by Thomas Edison in January 1879 in his laboratory he had made it in medley park New Jersey. the light bulb had a layer of platinum filament that's helped pass electricity and prevented flames and melting. as crazy as it sounds Thomas Edison failed about 1,000 times in just trying too perfect the lightbulb. the lightbulb lasted for 14.5 hours and established light during the night without the use of fire and to separate fire and light
- Thomas Edison also created the movie camera and received his patent which was named the kinetograph it was also early developed and viewed in the 1890's. the motion picture has helped developed by Thomas Edisons assistant William Dickson which created a device that could record moving pictures. the kinetograph was created in august 24 of 1891 and its film was normally 35mm it also captured 30 images a second using stop and go movement.
- Thomas Edisons phonograph was also invented in Menlo Park 1877 in his little lab it also worked with a little piece of tin foil cylinder in the middle you also had to shout something on the side while you turned the handle although Thomas Edison created the phonograph, the telegraph was able to put in a piece of paper tape, but people used it to listen music whenever they wanted this as long as they wanted. the phonograph as lead to jazz being invented but back when music was recorded both had to move at the same time.
