Hey, I'm Hydro! This is the story of how the water cycle works.
When it is warm, the sun heats up the ocean which causes water droplets, like me, to turn into a gas called water vapour and rise into the sky. This process is called evaporation.

I'm having fun in the air!
As the water vapour in the air rises, it cools down. This water vapour condenses and forms clouds. I rise into the cloud to join many other droplets like me. This process is called Condensation.
Gleiten: 3
I love falling down with my friends!
When the water droplets grow and become big enough to fall, they fall as rain, sleet or snow. This process is called Precipitation.
Gleiten: 4
Arghh, I'm scared of sinking!
When the water droplets have hit the ground, they then begin to soak into the soil. This process is called Infiltration.
Gleiten: 5
I'm almost back to where I started!
Once the soil has been infiltrated by water, the water begins to travel through the soil, this is ground water. This process is called Percolation.
Gleiten: 6
I'm back in the ocean and ready to do it all again!
After that long journey, the water droplet is finally back to where it started, in the ocean. The Water cycle repeats itself.
