  • Gretchen
  • Gidyap!
  • Hello, I am Squeaky and this is my older brother Raymond who has a disability.
  • Inciting Incident
  • You got anything to say to my brother, you say it to me, Mary Louise Williams of Raggedy Town, Baltimore.
  • What grade are you in now, Raymond?
  • Rising Action
  • I always win cause I'm the best.
  • You signing up for the May Day races?
  • I don't think you're going to win this time.
  • RAYMOND!? He was practicing with me on my runs!?
  • Squeaky is a young girl who is determined to running and she lives in New York City. She has an older brother, but she has to take care of him due to him having a disability. Also the characters in the scene above are introduced as well.
  • Climax
  • In this scene, Squeaky was just practicing running for the race, but comes across Gretchen and her friends. They make fun of Raymond, and Squeaky gets angry at them.
  • Falling Action
  • In first place--Miss Hazel Elizabeth Deborah Parker.
  • Great Job Raymond! I did not expect that!
  • Maybe me and Gretchen can coach Raymond together!
  • In this scene, the issue with Gretchen and her friends continues on, and Gretchen's friends demotivate her for the race. But Squeaky does not let herself down and answers them back.
  • Resolution
  • In this scene, the race finally starts but Squeaky notices that Raymond is also running with his own unique style. In addition Squeaky is shocked to see that Raymond actually was practicing with Squeaky on her practice runs as well.
  • In this scene, Squeaky wins the race, and she is extremely proud of Raymond. But before that race. Prior to the win, she almost stops to see her older brother Raymond run for the first time, but she does not stop and continues her race.
  • In this scene, Squeaky and Gretchen actually smile at each other with respect and this is the first sign of relationship between them. In addition, Squeaky starts to think about others as well, and starts to get more mature, when she thinks that Gretchen and her can train Raymond. Lesson learned: You should never expect less from people with disabilities. This lesson means that Squeaky and the others never expected that Raymond could run like that, but he shocked them and did the unexpected. They did not have any expectations from him because he has a disability.
  • Congratulations!
