  • La guerre de succession a commencer en 1701 et a terminer en 1713 avec le traite d'Utrecht. La guerre de succession était une guerre en Europe qui s'est répandu a la colonie de britannique et de France en Amérique du nord suite a la mort de Charles II, roi de l'Espagne.
  • Le roi d'Espagne est mort le 1 novembre 1700.Avant sa mort, il voulait nommer le petit fils du roi de France, le duc d'Anjou (Philippe v de Bourbon) comme on successeur.
  • Plusieurs pays comme l'Angleterre et Hollande ne voulaient pas que Philippe V devient le nouveau roi car ceci donnerait trop de pouvoir a la France.

Encouraged by his success, he personally led an army into the Dutch Netherlands in 1672.War of the Spanish Succession Tired of hardship, the French people longed forpeace. What they got was another war. In 1700, the childless king of Spain,Charles II, died after promising his throne to Louis XIV’s 16-year-old grandson,Philip of Anjou.
