- Dear Sammy,Happy summer! I hope you are having a blast in Martha's Vineyard! My family and I are in in Oklahoma visiting my family, and we just visited the famous roadway, Route 66! I learned that this highway was established on November 11, 1926, and runs through lots of states including Illinois, Kansas, New Mexico, and of course Oklahoma. We drove along the road for a while and say vintage gas stations, old neon signs, and classic diners. Did you know that this road inspired the movie, "Cars"? It is so cool! Well, I will see you soon and have a great rest of the summer!Your Friend,James
