  • Students can't make a change in meal options themselves so let's act now . . . their health depends on us! Contact your child's school board today! Make THE difference for them!!!
  • Students having today's lunch as usual.
  • It's time for me to go to the school nurse to have my glucose level checked now.
  • All I know is after Pop-Tarts for breakfast and now this carbohydrate filled lunch, I am crashing . . . I need a nap!
  • I hate that I'm obese but pre-k teachers are required to eat school meals, too! We can't make a change on our own . . . power lies with parents united for change.
  • Students stopping by the snack room.
  • Vending machines in school
  • Contact you child's school board today!Make THE difference for them!
  • Unlike other countries, in America we put fundraising vending machines before students' health . . . What'll you have???
  • They would never have it in school if it was bad for us!
  • AGREED!I think I'll have a Coke, Fun Dip, Fritos . . .
  • Students' healthy lunch of the future.
  • Now that school is providing healthier meals, I'm no longer obese or diabetic
  • Healthy hearts, minds, and bodies . . . You made THE difference!!!
  • I feel energized and eager to learn!
  • Of course, we need some healthy proteins, too. We just haven't found any without fillers BUT parents are still at work on it! Power of Parents!!!
  • In the school cafeterias of today students are served meals made up mostly of carbohydrates. These carbs cause a sugar crash that causes sluggishness and fatigue. It's difficult for students to stay alert & learn! To make matters worse, students are called down and reprimanded for reacting as should be expected to the food the schools serve them.
  • A little while after lunch teachers have noticed students lose their focus. Ah-Ha, there's a remedy (NOT)--supply students with MORE sugars to wake them back up even if it only last until dismissal.
  • The real solution is simple: Invest in our nation by investing in our most important resource! Visit your child's school board, contact your local state representative, and if it comes to it then by all means take it national. All students should have access to healthy foods in schools--Good food choices today will develop good food habits for tomorrow!!!
