- Long shot film technique- The suspense this technique projects is one that shows what is in store for the character and the mystery of what is in the room. The shot is effective because it can make the audience feel like they are in the characters position.

- Close up technique- This film technique creates suspense because of the mystery behind why the character is in such a fright. The technique is effective because it captures the terrifying emotion of the character.
