- It was the biggest loss for General George Washington because he was forced to retreat and lost 20% of his men in the battle.

- George Washington planned a ambush on the Hessians and they went over the frozen Delaware River when they arrived the next morning December 26 1776 they won the battle of Trenton which the Hessians surrendered and lost which brought the big morale booster for Washington's troops.

- The battle of Brandywine was the end of the American wins in the battles, General Washington later made a plan to how to protect the capitol Philadelphia but failed to protect it and then the British/red coats took over the capitol Philadelphia.

- The battle of Saratoga wasn't led by General Washington and this battle was won under General Gate command, this was a major turning point for the Americans it also convinced the French, Spanish, and the Dutch to help the Americans in the battle.
- The battles shown were battles fought by the British and Americans. The Americans declaired independence on July 4, 1776 after the independence was declaired the king made a joke out of it so he sent some of his army over to handle it thinking it wasn't real but when he realized what really was going on he acted quick trying to make America a British property again but it was took late a war had begun so these battles were the turning point for the Americans to gain the upper hand the British had for so much time as we saw in the battle of Saratoga the Americans were able to get help and the British retreated at the end !
