Jonah and the whale

- Jonah was a nice man that was liked by everyone and he lived in Israel
- Nineveh was the town next to Israel and the people there were evil so God wanted to destroy them in 40 days.
- God told Jonah to go to Nineveh to teach them them ways of god, since Israel was always being attacked by Nineveh he refused.
- Jonah tried to run away and hide from God so he got on a boat to get away. God summoned a storm to get Jonah. Everyone on the boat threw things off the boat to try to stay afloat .Jonah said the only way to stop the storm is to throw me off so the others did when they had no other option.
- Jonah then got swallowed by a whale and he was in the whales stomach for 3 days and nights and the whole time he was praying to get out and asking god for his forgiveness.
- Finally on the forth day the whale spat out Jonah and then god appeared again and said to go to Nineveh and this time Jonah did and made them good people and the king listened and fixed the town and God chose not to destroy Nineveh.
