Storyboard Tekst

  • Antigone has achieved burying her brother honorably and accepting her fate for her actions.
  • Antigone values her family, loyalty, and honesty for her actions. She also holds religious values over her head.
  • Antigone thinks that the law of god is much more important than the law of man.
  • Antigone buries her brother, respects family and God, and defends the natural law.
  • Antigone desires to honor her brother and accept her fate for her righteous actions.
  • Antigone goes to bury her brother in the battlefield, then she is captured and sent to Creon for breaking the law. Finally, she is sent to a locked vault for the rest of her life as her punishment.
  • Antigone's conflicts would be against Creon and his rule of letting her brother's body rot in the battlefield instead of an honorable burial.
  • "If I have to die for this pure crime, I am content, for I shall rest beside him and his love will answer mine."
  • Antigone is a loyal, brave, compassionate, and faithful individual. Antigone's perception of burying her brother honorably isn't a crime to God, however it is a crime to Creon because he specifically asked for her brother (Polyneices) to not be burried because he was a traitor to the family. Her sister Ismene refuses to help Antigone bury their brother as it is against her values (the law of man/divine law). Antigone ends up being captured in the end and sent into a vault for the rest of her life, which is the fate she said she would accept as long as she got to honorably bury her brother. The lion symbolizes bravery, the holding hands symbolizes loyalty and compassion, and the cross represents the law of god and her faithfulness.
