- Liza and Teta Loleng were talking about what happened in Lem's wake while preparing sinigang. In this scene, the conflict is going to be introduced though their conversation.

- During the burial she had meet Sylvia mother of his half-brother. She had been looking at the face of her dead half-brother searching for any resemblance between the two of them.
- Sylvia asked for forgiveness and understanding to Liza. It seems that the whole situation was a scene from a bad melodrama

- Tita Lolang asked if her Dad was surprise to see her in the burial of Lem. Liza had no choice but to bo to the funeral.
- Was your father surprise to see you?
- Liza's Dad is happy because of her presence.His father told her that her brother was an acolyte in the church and he was assured of going to a better place because he was a good child. Her brother was compared to her.
- Im glad your here Liza.
- The sinigang was served during dinner. He would tell her Mom about his day and then he would compliment her on the way she had cooked his favorate dish and she would give him a smi.e that would never show, not even in her eyes
- Wow, Liza you're sinigang taste delicious.
