- Hi Mr Edward, I can´t find the documentation that shows my family and I live here, but we have nowhere else to go and have lived here for five years.

- That seems like your problem so if you don´t have the money to buy the land you will have to leave.

- When Saucedo announced Norris as the winner Edwards was mad and did not believe it.
- There was an election for mayor. The two candidates were Samuel Norris and Chichester Chaplin. Edward declared Chaplin the winner.

- Norris believed that the election was not fair and asked Saucedo to double-check the votes

- After looking at the votes again Saucedo decided that Norris had won the election
- I declare Samuel Norris the winner of the election
- There is no way thhat Norris won the vote!!!
- In the end the Mexican government and Stephen F. Austin won.
- If Norris becomes mayor I will just my own indepedent state!
- Mexico and Stephen F. Austin were both fed up with edwards so they cancelled Edwards land grant and declared war
- Woohoo we won
