- Banquo: (to himself) it's your now. Everything, just as the weird women promised: and I'm afraid you played a vile game to get it. Yet they said your children wouldn't succeed, but that I myself would be the father of a line of kings. If they speak the truth - as they did in your case, Macbeth - why shouldn't I hope they'll do the same for me?
