- Ponyboy, Darry, and Sodapop were all sitting in the waiting room waiting to hear how Dally and Johnny were doing but then the police and reporters started questioning all three of them.
- Hi this is the police we are here to question you about the latest incidents with your friends...
- While Ponyboy is sitting on the couch he notices that him, all his freinds, and all his family were on the front page of a newspaper called " Juvenile Delinquents."
- Chapter 7
- Guys we are on the front page of this magazine called " Juvenile Delinquents" !
- Ponyboy finds out that him and Sodapop might be going into a boys home.
- WHAT DO YOU MEAN ME AND SODAPOP MIGHT BE GOING TO A BOYS HOME !
- Ponyboy talks about how he used to have horrible nightmares about his parents death for nights straight.
- Hi guys it's Ponyboy here. I want to just talk to you about my experiance after both of my parents death. For nights straight I would have these horrible nightmares that would wake me up in the middle of the night. To this day they still scare me.
- Two-Bit starts telling jokes to Ponyboy but it doesn't make him laugh and Ponyboy is worried about getting the house cleaned before the reporters come and question them.
- Two-Bit come on now we have to get the house cleaned up before the reporters come !
- Lastly a SOC named Randy calls Ponyboy into his car. Ponyboy and Randy have a nice genuine chat even though they both come from different parts.
