  • As an educator, I know we are far away from equality, though it may seem that we have the same rights people of color will always have to work a little harder.
  • I do believe racism still exists in today's society, personally I have not encounter any racism but I have seen it.
  • Do you believe that the color of someone's skin plays a role into getting a job?
  • Unfortunately it is does, there is evidence that the color of someone's skin leads to a bias desicsion.
  • Final question for you, do you believe that all lives in America are treated equally?
  • All lives in America are not equal, we have systemic systems in place that do not give people the same opportunities.
  • I definitely do not believe we are all treated equally by any means because this is not a country based on equality.

  • Yes it does, in fact in my own studies I recorded interviews and asked college students to score them on whether or not they were higher able, and the darker your skin is the lower you were scored.
  • No, I do not believe all lives are treated equally, I think some people have positional power and some people have power because of their race.
  • I appreciate you taking on the question of racism in today's society, with our new learning over the last decade we have to be actively anti-racist, that's what it takes.
