Hi! today we talk about photosynthesis! It uses water, sunlight and carbon dioxide to create sugar!!
That's awesome! I've heard a lot about you, you also help produce oxygen!
Correct, us plants AND animals use the sugar called glucose to make ATP energy, which is just Adenosine triphosphate.
And that is through a process called cellular respiration..
On the left side you'll see the reactants, and on the left you see the products.. isn't that the whole thing?
haha, I see you know a lot about photosynthesis and how it works.. do you know the formula..?
Awesome! so..where does it all start?
Well, kind of.. the formula really is 6CO2+6H206O2+C6H12O6!
During photosynthesis, plants take in carbon dioxide and water from the air and soil. This transforms the water into oxygen and the carbon dioxide into glucose. The plant then releases the oxygen back into the air, and stores energy within the glucose molecules.
You're welcome!! Well, I need to go photosynthesize, i'll see you around!
That's some great information! Thank you so much !
