The Other Wes Moore Chapter 4
Storyboard Beskrivelse
Summary: Tony asks Wes where and how he got the money from but Wes repeatedly says that he got it from DJing but Tony doesn't believe him. He asks Wes one more time but Wes said the same answer. This cause a fight between the two and Mary hears it and comes outside and asks what was going on. Tony tells her that Wes was selling drugs to make money but Mary tells him that Wes earns money by DJing. Tony gets upset and asks Mary if she was blind and if she was serious. Tony then leaves. The next day when Wes leaves to go to school Mary thinks about what Tony had told her, so she decides to see if this was true. Mary goes into Wes's bedroom and searches for any evidence. After searching she finds boxes full of drugs under Wes's mattress. Mary brings the boxes to the bathroom and then flushes them down the toilet. Wes comes home to find empty boxes on his bed. He realizes Mary had done somthing to them so he shouted at Mary and asks what she had done to the drugs. Mary tells him that she flushed them down. Wes get very angery and tells her that the drugs cost him over $4,000 dollars. Wes leaves the house and goes to visit one of his girlfriend"s house. The reason I choose this was because this was kind of the start of where Wes's life goes downhill. He gets into trouble and gets involved with crimes.
Storyboard Tekst
- Tony wanted to know how Wes was able to afford nice things . Tony knew that Wes couldn't have that much money from DJ'ing.
- I said I got it from DJ'ing !
- Wes. Where. Did. You. Get. The. Money?
- What the hell is going on here!
- No he isn't, he is making the money DJing.
- ..you really believe that? Are you blind?
- The next day, after Wes went to school, Mary began to searching through his drawers.
- Please let it be DJing money. please let it be DJing money.
- Mary lifted his mattress and found a shoe box that were very light. She opens it and finds drugs in side
- Mary took the boxes into the bathroom and watched every ounce of drugs fall into the toilet until the water turned cloudy white, and then flushed it down until the water turned clear.
- Wes came home and notice that the boxes were opened and empty and then became angry shouted at his mom where the drugs were at .
- Ma! Where are you? Did you know what you just did!
- I'm in my room.
- After the arguement Wes went to his girl friend's house.
- that was over four thousand dollars in drugs! I have to pay someone back!
- flushed them down the toilet
