- The Persians wanted to punish the Athens for helping the Ionians revolt against them so Darius, the leader of the Persians decided to attack the Athens.

- Athenian's won the battle! The Persians are going to attack!
- Wow! That's surprising! We thought they were all going to die. Oh no we need to prepare.
- The Persians landed in Marathon and outnumbered the Greeks 3 to 1. Everyone expected the Persians to win the battle.

- I told about the Athenian victory and warned them.
