- Bear was explaining that king john wasn't a good king. He never respected his barons. He lost a lot of land in France. He had to sign a manga carta. He agreed to observe common law and traditional rights.
- Art work
- Bear was explaining what kids played with. Little kid splayed with dolls and balls. Little girls would play with the dolls with their friends. The parents would play chess.
- Black Death
- Bear was explaining what the entertainment was. There were jugglers. There were clowns. There were dancers. There was also music. He also explained that he also played with them until he and his group spilt up.
- Bear explained that there are so many types of art. Like the painted windows in the church. He also explained that most art and architecture found their most glorious expression in the cathedrals. He also said that there were gargoyles were part of the gothic style. They were also to scare people to think that the devil and evil sports will come for them if they didn't follow the church's teachings.
- Bear was explaining to Crispin that a lot of people died because of the black death. When they had the plague the doctors would be the local barber. The doctors would wear a bird-shaped mask and they would have to put erbs in the mask so they don't smell the dead bodies. They called it the black death because when they had the plague they would get black and blue spots.
