- In 1980, “Sendero Luminoso” had power and expanded in northern Ayacucho. Perú declared a state of emergency in 1982.
- Hey you! I will shoot now!

- In 1983, Ayacucho, Pasco, Huánuco, Abancay y Junín were under attack. High voltage lines were shut down, living cities without electricity.
- In 1984, MRTA terrorist group was founded. They fought with Sendero Luminoso.
- The end of terrorism starts now!
- Terrorist from Sendero Luminoso could pose as peasants and common people. A lot of people were killed by them and also the police.
- In 1986, terrorism expanded through the country and attacked many cities, specially Lima, so in 1987, the military and police group “Comando Rodrigo Franco” was created, accused of its extrajudicial executions.
- Alberto Fujimori became president in 1990 and “Grupo Colina” (army group) was founded. He broke up the congress for creating an emergency government and capture terrorist organization’s leaders, decreasing attacks.
