- Hansel, Gretel their dad and mean step mom are living in a cottage on the edge of the woods.

- But their family has no food or money.

- Hansel and gretel's parents plan to, and do leave them in the wood with a fire.(cause that makes them good parents) hansel and gretel find a house of candy and start to eat it. then a witch comes and locks them up and fattens hansel up.
- resolution
- One day when the witch thinks hanzel is fat enough she prepares to eat him she asks grettle to crawl into the oven gretel asks how and when the witch shows her she pushes her in and saves hanzel.
- hanzel and gretel find treasure in the witches house and take some, they get to a river with no way to cross but a duck(somehow) takes them across.
- Hansel and gretel find their way home and their dad and a lovely surprise the mom had died and they were rich.
