The narrator lives in the old man's house. Every day he takes care of him. He loves the old man. However, there is one thing he can't help but be vexed by--the old man's vulturous pale blue eye. With this thought in his mind he begins to develop a plot to murder the old man, brought about by his insanity. Soon after the murder, the police drop by to investigate.
Climax
The eye is gone. I will never have to deal with it again.
The eye and heartbeat of the old man is driving the Narrator insane.
FallingAction
This is it, I killed him here. He is under the floorboards. It's not my fault his eye, his eye! It kept looking at me...

The Narrator spies on the old man every night.He has to watch him go to sleep
Resolution
The narrator kills the old man, chops up his body and hides the parts in the floor
Help!....
The police investigated hi and he lied. However, he kept hearing the heartbeat of the old man which caused him to confess.
