- One day In 1943, Ingvar, a money-smart, up-and-coming manager of a small furniture store in Almhult Sweden, had been thinking of how to move up in the world. Until one day, he saw a billboard next to one of the largest furniture manufacturers in his town stating hiring new managers, now accepting interviews, so he decided to take a look!

- The Man takes the elevator and proceeds to the office. He soon realizes that the current manager is extravagant in his spending, as he owns 2 extremely expensive computers and a uniform from an expensive designer brand, worth nearly $10,000. He advances and greets The Manager, who gives him a confused eye as he looks The Young Man up and down.

- Proceeding through the interview, The Old Man takes a good look at The Manager's suit that is made from a cheap brand, and makes a quick judgement. Because of his cheap clothes and quiet demeanor, he lacks the money and education to run a business of this prestige. If he was qualified to run this business, he would have enough money and show it off in the way of having expensive designer fashion, showing he means business. Little did he know, Ingvar managed a little store called Ikea!
