- One day around 700 BCE, the Latins founded a city called Rome.
- You know, I think our friends could adapt to life like this.
- Well, I packed my hammock, so I'm down.
- Later, the Greeks and Etruscans came, looking to influence Roman culture.
- Visitors? Who?
- I'm really loving the societal build here!
- Don't know. They call themselves the "Greeks" and the "Etruscans".
- Yeah, me too! And apparently, so did the visitors.
- Greece influenced a whole new culture in Rome: Greco-Roman. It is when someone shows Roman characteristics with strong Greek influence. Etruscans, who had taken control of Etruria, came to share some of their engineering ideas with the Romans. Both cultures greatly improved and greatened the extent of Roman culture.
