Storyboard Tekst

  • In the 1812 version of "Little Snow White," purity and weakness are the main themes. Snow White represents the stereotype of a submissive, fragile person who appears to be the victim of events beyond her control. She is presented as a young, innocent woman who displays vulnerability and weakness in front of adversity. The story highlights her need on outside help as well as the feeling of powerlessness that came with being the victim of the poisoned fruit, the huntsman's trick, and the evil queen's actions. The way that Snow White is portrayed fits nicely into traditional feminine stereotypes; she represents the stereotypical image of the helpless women in desire for rescue.
