The supreme court agreed to their argument, the court said that the separate but equal doctrine has no place in public education. Separating children just because of race generates a feeling of inferioirty in their hearts.

The courts decision rejected the separate but equal doctrine the court had approved because of the plessy vs fegurson case now all white schools couldn't reject black children because of their race and wasnt just applied to k-12 but to colleges and universities.
